In fact, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health, Cigna, Aetna, and Medicare & Medicaid have covered chiropractic care for years. These carriers recognize that chiropractic care effectively treats many musculoskeletal disorders. We are in-network with all of the insurance companies listed and more.
Numerous other companies, HMOs and PPOs, offer chiropractic care to their subscribers. In fact, recent articles published in the Journal for Managed Care cited chiropractic care as being more cost-effective than conventional medical therapies in treating low back pain. In addition, injuries resulting from auto accidents are typically covered 100% by auto insurance, and many in-home injuries are covered by homeowners policies.
